Hello - I've been a hunter for years and own several shotguns, my most recent being the 620 Semi-Auto. I have another semi auto (Browning Gold) so I don't think I'm a total idiot but I have an idiotic question about the 620. Why is the handle/lever on the bolt removable? Also, there is a small silver button at the front of the trigger guard, just at the back end of the shell carrier. I get how the button works - if it is pushed the bolt stays open. When do you use this button. sorry for the ignorance but I haven't owned a gun with these features before.
    thank you - erik
P.S. - The ducks are starting to show up in Minnesota!

    1. Try getting the bolt out of the receiver without removing it.

    2. This is a feature that allows you to remove or change a shell from the chamber without allowing another to be released from the magazine.
As you idea, Your picture don't very warm and wet. Have much die of bird. I think this isn't only a game.

Thanks for the answer on question 2 - makes sense that you could swap shells. I actually meant for the first question, whay are there two positions for the handle on the bolt? I tried pushing it all the way in when shooting trap and the bolt threw the handle out. When it is pulled out to the second position there is room for it to spin around? Sorry if I'm not being clear as I'm having a hard time describing it.
