Have you checked to see if the failure is repeated on dry fires, or is it just with live ammo?
That may shed some light on whether it's related to recoil in some way, or something else.
I'd pull the stock off and check the fit and funtion of the internals.
If it does occure with dry fires, then I'd definitely do it, as the problem should become immediately apparent.
It's a pretty simple mechanism, and I'd almost bet that it's a simple fix.
When it does fail, how you reset it to a working state? Does just re-cocking it do the job?
As you idea, Your picture don't very warm and wet. Have much die of bird. I think this isn't only a game.
