712 Raptor questions

where can I get the stock shims for the 712? I didn't recieve any when I got my Raptor (got mine slightly used cause it was the only one I could find at the time) and also, anyone have a clue what the tread size is for the sight beads? I'd really like to replace those

Depending on what sight you put on it, on all of my Franchi's I have installed the hi viz compsight with the interchangeable lite pipes and if you call hi viv they will send you the correct size as it does not come with the kit. I believe it is like a .5 or a .6 mm. Regarding the shims you should be able to get those from your local gun store if not they will refer you to this one store for benelli and franchi parts.

I would just call Franchi (301)283-6981. Tell them the shims didn't come with you gun. If you leave out the part about buying it used the might even send them to you at no charge.

well, finally got an email back. They told me that the Raptors don't come w/ shims, nor do they make them for the gun. I swear I've heard other people say they've gotten shims included w/ their guns.. anyone?
