Now that I have settled on buying a 720 for my son, I can't find one. One place said that it would be 120 days!! Does anyone know if there are problems that Franchi is trying to correct? I know some have shipped, because I have spoken to one guy that was trying to sell a used one (I don't want camo). Can anybody offer any suggestions?

Thanks for the suggestion tucker, I sent an email to them a couple of days ago and they do not have any in stock. I spoke to "whoever answered the phone" today at Benelli and she said that they didn't know when more would be in stock. She said that when they are sent from Franchi, it would take 30 days from the time the guns shipped and clear customs in both countries, and there are currently no 720's in transit.

I can't imagine Benelli not having any influence over Franchi. Hunting season has already begun in some states, and is not far behind in the rest. How can a firearms company be "out of stock" this time of year? How can any major firearms company be backordered 120 days? The person I spoke to today said that all they show is "at least 30 days."

If anyone else has a suggestion, please let me know.

Well, I guess I'll be forced to spend a little more money and look for a Beretta.

[I wanted to buy a 712 black when they were still making them could not find on anywhere.

I only could find 912 with 28 inch to long.

I could not find a 720 or 712 in colorado for over 2 years. I might of bought a 912 if they had any with a 26 or 24 inch but could not find one.

    I ended up buy a M1.
