Franchi Centennial .22 cal semi auto

I just got a Franchi Centennial .22 cal semi-auto rifle which seems to have "take down" ability, but don't know how. There's a button and recessed narrow panel on receiver and a knurled part at barrel end suggesting these parts move or disassemble. Anybody know about this gun as I never saw one before and understand it's the only such rifle Franchi made listed in Blue Book.

Hope this helps....got it as part of a description from someone selling one of these rifles when I was considering buying one. I was asking if the takedown joint ever gets sloppy....

So, if I understand him correctly (and I take no responsibility if this ain't right), to disassemble, you'd loosen the barrel nut first with the bolt handle as your lever, then you'd use the latch to release the barrel.

Thanks for tip on "take down" of Franchi Centennial .22 rifle. It sounds like a unique system and will try. It's so tight as to suggest that the previous owner did not disassemble it.
