I have the model 912 and have seen alot of posts about the "pistion" that you have flip to cycle different loads. My question is i bought mine used and I dont see any rubber O-ring on that piston it self, could it be stuck on the barrel ...?
If i shoot with out this rubber o-ring will it hurt anything?
I hope someone can help me out the local gunshops dont have any of these models in stock for me to go look at. Is there anyplace on the web i can goto look at a diagram or anything?
    Thanks

On the 912, the o-ring may be stuck in the barrel ring, if so remove and replace. If you fire without the o-ring it may not cycle and if it does you run that risk of damaging the piston with it being slammed against the barrel ring without the o-ring between the two. The o-ring actually sits between the piston and barrel ring and is placed over the magazine tube, if that makes any sense. Good luck and I hope this has been helpful.
