Well, as we all know the instructions included with our guns often leaves much to be desired.

I would like to remove the bolt from my 612, the instructions say "Extract the cocking handle from the breech bolt slide", and it show a picture of some fingers deftly removing the handle.

Now, can anyone tell me how to actually remove the handle? It has a little built-in swivel which I assume is to make cocking it easier. Does it unthread? Is there a cam?

Hi. The handle will pull straight out. it is held in by a samll c-clip. I could not get mine out at first but it will pull out.

I have a 712 Raptor, which works the same as your 612. Timmy is right it pulls out, but is very hard the first time. I had to use a pair of pliars the first time I took it out. I put a rag around it first so that I wouldn't scratch it.

Got it, thanks. Yeah, it was tough the first time, now it all makes sense...
