Thread: older Franchi need info

    I have an older Franchi over& under 12ga and was looking for all the Info I could find on it, Heres what I have.....
    S pA Luigi Franchi Brescia made in Italy
    top barrel sk2 bot. sk1 26" barrels
    4 stars on top bar. CL on bot. bar.
    looks like Acciaio Logne "R" mo supercromomato bot bar. ser. no 40305. just ahead of hinge pivots 38271. engraved trigger guard and hindge area. Any info would be of great help. THANK YOU

    best bet would be to take it into an 'older' gun shop where the smith has published referances .. you can try the information over at Gunbroker.com with the fellas there too..

    codition is good as I have shot it. I was woundering how hard it would be to find other barrels for it.

    nearly impossible on the barrel thing.. always a chance of finding a set but, would most likely have to be in the right place right time and even then the condition of the set would be in question too.

    If you're that interested ($$) in a set you could always have a custom shop build a set .. but, as you know - that will get a little spendy to have a good set of barrels made.
