My son had a 912, it was a rare, but sour lemon
The third time back to the factory he went to an
sbe 2. I'm interested in a recoil operated 20ga. I like the 48 but want a 3" chamber. I know Benelli has a few but they're pretty spendy for something that I won't use much.
I'm always interested in new guns anyway.

Hi tank- I haven't had the oportunity to shoot the new I-12 yet but, i'm betting it should be a good smooth operator.

I'd like to believe that the growing pains of the merger have ended or are close to it.. so they'll all be getting back to what they do best ... make fine shotguns!

I personally can't wait to shoulder one and throw a few boxes through it .. when i get the chance I'll post back with some 'opinionated hog wash'

Birddog, is that the model I-12 ? The last time I looked the new guns weren't listed. The 620 and 612 wasn't either.
Thanks and look forward to your hog wash

BD, Is this going to be a 3"er ? Before I for get thanks for posting the pic. It's going to compete with the Benelli's alright. I don't know much about shotguns (anything really) but it looks more like the benelli.I know for sure I'm the very first person to notice that.
I'm sure Franchi will do justice to it. I will post the pic on another site I belong to. Yes, it's true I do go to other sites, but don't tell anyone.

not too sure on the exacts and specs but, my money would go on a 3" bet.

the 912 already has the 3-1/2" covered.

Quoting Field & Stream,
"Franchi’s new semi-auto I-12 also incorporates the Benelli inertia bolt system, allowing the 12-gauge to digest anything from trap loads to three-inch magnum shells. Available in several barrel lengths, it can be had with a walnut stock (SRP: $760), black synthetic (SRP: $660) or in either Max 4 or Timber HD camo (SRP: $730)."
As you idea, Your picture don't very warm and wet. Have much die of bird. I think this isn't only a game.
