Will an AL48 barrel fit my gun

I have a semi 12 Gauge Franchi that was given to me by my uncle. It's a nice gun and fires well. I suspect that it is about 35 years old. I don't know what model it is but suspect that it is older variant of the AL48.

There are no stampings that tell what model it is. However, the serial # is A46402. It has a plain receiver and a non-ribbed 28" FC barrel. There is a small picture of a hunter stamped just above the serial # on the underside of the receiver. Does anyone know the model this is?

I have my eye on a used AL48 ribbed barrel with interchangeable chokes on it. Does anyone know if the AL48 barrel will fit on this gun?

I have one with the same picture and serial number starting "A" like yours - it's a 48AL. The barrell should fit as long as the chamber is the same - is it 2 3/4" or 3"?
