Model# and serial#

Hey there again,
Was needing to send in my warranty registration and got a little confused. With my gun I got the cardboard box and the hard case. On the end of the box there is I assume the model and serial #'s. But I am a little unsure which is which. One of the #'s matches the #'s stamped on the receiver which I think is the model #. Is that correct? Or is that the serial? Where do I find the serial # if that is the model? Or vice verse?
Thanks a bunch. Unsure because this is the first new gun I have gotten in like 10 years and I cannot for the life of me figure it out!!

Based on other posts, you have a model 912.
Here are the stock numbers for the 912.

Typically, the serial number will be on both the receiver and the barrel of the gun.
Use the numbers from the gun itself, not from the box. Dealers have been known to get boxes mixed up.
