I was looking at purchasing a 912 and it appears as if it is well liked. The question is does anybody know how the camo is holding up on them or is it touch. Basically is it going to flake off and if so should I go with the black?

it'll rub off like bluing before it flakes off Capt Jay... go with what you like-
6 to one, half dozen to another.
I have put probably 2500 shots through my 912 and that includes shots in a dove field not just a skeet range and I have small areas that the camo finish has scracthed off. The area around the action is where mine is, but it doesn't bother me cause it's black underneath the camo and it also gives the gun character and shows use. This is a gun that is made to take a beating so it shouldn't matter if the camo flakes off in my opinion. Like Birddog said, "go wth what you like." Good luck and I know you'll love this gun.
Thanks I appreciate the input
I was also wondering if anyone has had any problems with any of the camo fading.
