buttstock

I am looking for a buttstock for a AL48 12 gauge that is about 30-35 years old. Numrichs never seems to have one in stock however I found one at Hoosier gun works web site however after talking to them on the phone it may not be an exact fit. I was told that it should work after making some adjustments (sanding). Does anyone know another source if the stock from hoosier doesnt work out?

Hi jgeter - have you thought about having a stock made specifically for the gun? A reputable (shotgun) stock maker would not only be able to reproduce one ..but, will also be able to produce a customised stock that fits your personal dimensions.
