older Franchi 12-gauge o/u

Can anyone help me with information about an older Franchi o/u, and maybe give me some idea of what it is worth (friend wants to sell it). It's probably at least 30 years old, with short barrels, less than 24". Has the following stampings on barrels and receiver: "KMO" Superchrom, acciaio, cogne (or cogre), is marked as "field" gun, has XXXX stamping. Engraved sides with grouse on one side and pheasant on other. Seems like a nice little gun, with laquered wood it looks like. Any info would be much appreciated. Francis
