im looking at a alcione sport and was wondering if there was an easy way to tell if it was the right hand or the left hand model.

with the muzzle of the gun pointing away from you, hold the gun out in-front of you.

while looking down the rib notice which way the stock is off-set from the line of the rib.

RT handed models will have a stock that is off-set to the right at the butt-end of the stock the opposite for left. this brings the plane of sight closer to the shooters eye.

this is what they term cast.

no problem ... I've got one that i've had for 7yrs (pre-Beretta) and it's as solid as the day I bought it. I've used it on occasion for waterfowl and sporting clays but, sees most duty chasing ruffs and phesants.

Have you shouldered one yet? If so how did you like it compared to other models??

    just wondering.
