Thread: 912 jamming on field loads

    any one have an answer for me on witch field load will funcion with my 912 i am having trouble with game loads 3in and3 1/2 are working great for field loads i turn piston around and for mag loads i turn it the other way please reply

    Hi Wayne-o, Sounds like the field loads you've tried using are really light loads. Try bouncing up to 3-1/4 Dram Eqiv. packed with 1-1/8 or 1-1/4oz. of shot or even better 3-3/4 Dram Eqiv. packed with 1-1/4oz. of shot. Obviously there are heavier loads available but, with the extra punch comes extra expense. These loads are available from the big three:

    2-3/4" | 3-3/4 Dram Eq. | 1-1/4oz. | 1330 muz. vel.
    2-3/4" | 3-1/4 Dram Eq. | 1-1/4oz. | 1220 muz. vel.
    2-3/4" | 3-1/4 Dram Eq. | 1-1/8oz. | 1255 muz. vel.
