hi, i have oppurtunity to purchase a 48al 12 gauge that is about 6 years old and in excellent shape for a fair price... question i have this is for my son, he wants to shoot slugs (deer hunt) i see on homepage on the 48al they mention if want to shoot slugs you can get a "optional cylinder/improved modified tubes" does that mean i cant fire slugs with standard barrell?? dont mine my ignorance i am not a gun guy that much, also friend told me he paid like $500 6 years ago and i can get this gun for $250 i take it that is a good deal? and why does the home page show only 20-28 gauge on the 48al ? (dont they make 12's no more) any insight on the 48al would be appreciated this gun is for my son for christmas and i dont want to make a dumb move... thanks! in advance
