I recently purchased a 912 synthetic. Sometimes the gun will not cycle completely. I was using 1 1/8 oz. loads. (winchester AA) I disassembled the gun, cleaned and lubed everything. The gas piston when at the end of the magazine tube (business end of the gun) sticks slightly. I inspected the piston and mag tube, but no real evidence of the cause I believe that this slight sticking is the cause of the non-cycle. Got any advice?

It sounds like the business end of the tube is slightly out of round.

Make sure you have tge piston set for light loads and shoot 3 Dr. Eq. powder charges for the 1 1/8th ounce loads.
If you want to make sure it cycles, use the light setting on the gas piston, and shoot HDCP loads.
Most mag. guns have trouble with light loads.

As JChapman said, make sure you have it set for light loads, then use some heavy 2 3/4" or 3" loads. Another thing, the gun needs to be kept very well lubricated, particularly the piston and the outside of the magazine tube the piston rides on. I recommend Breakfree CLP, but if you don't have that, use another good lightweight oil. Also lube the bolt and receiver rails very well.

Finally, the gun needs to be broken in. Most automatics won't function dependably until they have a least 10 boxes of shells run through them.
