Taking Franchi 612 on Dove Hunt 9-1-2003

I will baptize the Franchi 612 VS semi-auto this Monday on a Dove hunt. I am going with 8 guys from work to a farm at Mount Olive, NC. They cut the milage and corn this past Wednesday, this is 80 acres of milage and corn so by Monday noon it should be hot and heavy shooting. I will keep you guy's posted on how the gun performed on it's first hunt. Any of you guys going Dove Hunting?????

Went Monday, we have had heavy rain in Colorado for 3 days before Monday and then had fog on Monday not a lot of shooting but the dog got a couple of retrieves and I shot well the little I did.

Had a great time with he guys and the dogs.

Hunting is always fun.

Hope you guys faired better on the birds.
