I'm not sure just yet I bought mine over this pas weekend. I'm going on a duck hunt to Reelfoot this coming weekend. I'll better know how to discribe it then. I'm pretty new to shotgunning and the guns I have fired have all been auto-loaders mostly SBE and SBE2 I have fired the Steoger semi-auto and I felt like it was pretty manageable after running 70 plus shells through it in one day. I too am a little concerned about the recoil on this gun but I'm sure that I can get use to it. I'll let you know something next week when I get back.

Recoil is percieved differently by folks. When I was your age I shot my Dad's 12 ga double barrel and never noticed the recoil but I only shot it at game. If you are an average size person, the 12 ga Condor should not need any extra recoil equipment when used for hunting. Since you seem aprehensive about recoil, make sure you use the lightest loads you can fine. A 1 oz load will kill any game you may hunt just fine. If you have a 20 ga, then the 7/8 oz loads will do.

I have a 20 ga Condor and do not notice any excessive recoil as compared to my other 20 ga guns.
