This is a copy of a letter I sent to customer service last week and I still have had no responce! What kind of company is this anyhow!

I am writing to inform you of my extreme displeasure with your company. I first purchased a Stoeger Condor Supreme a couple of years ago. The gun never functioned correctly and would dent the primers of shells without setting them off. After attempting to hunt several times and never being able to do so, I contacted Stoeger and was given a service number for return. Shortly after I was contacted by Stoeger and told that, I would receive a brand new shotgun, as the previous ones were defective, but it would be at least 8 weeks before I received it! After 8 or 9 weeks, I received a new shotgun from Stoeger. This gun was not as aesthetically pleasing as the first, the stock was rather plain and the metal lacked scrolling, but I took this in stride as I assumed I now had a functioning firearm. I am now sitting at my Dove lease writing this letter, because this new replacement shotgun has the same exact problem as the previous condor! The firing pins only make contact with the primers every third or fourth try! I hope you can appreciate my anger. When a customer purchases a shotgun from your company for over $400, I think they should expect it to actually fire. How can you continue to produce a product of such a poor quality? I originally purchased a Stoeger as I thought it would be a quality firearm, and a functional gun. Especially being associated with a name such as Benelli! I was shown that Stoeger does not produce a quality firearm not only once, but twice! I hope you will take the time to correct my problem, and I do mean so in a timely fashion! It is ridiculous to think I would have to wait again for you to fix your problems! If you continue to sell such substandard products, how can you stay in business? I know I would never recommend that anyone buy one of your products! Please correct my situation and renew my faith in Stoeger.

    HEMBRANT12,
    Sounds like a nightmare.

Did you send the letter via regular mail or was it an e-mail?

They do not have the greatest of track records with e-mails, and if it was via snail mail, you probably have not allowed enough time for a response.

It would be advisable to follow up with a phone call.
Unfortunately, it will be a toll call, but it may be worth the effort.

It's not entirely fair to bring the Benelli name into it.
As someone stated here just yesterday, "If you want a Benelli, then buy a Benelli."

I hope they can get it worked out for you.
    Keep us posted.

I agree with Tucker. Get on the phone and call them; I had trouble once with my auto and speaking to someone in person did a lot more good.
I also might not hurt to keep your dealer in the loop too; Dicks sporting goods was mine and they handeled everthing quite well. Its just the waiting is rediculous.

    Thumbs up stoeger condor competition

I own various stoegers. I have 2 condor special 2 condor supreme and 3 condor competitions. I find the they are excellent guns never had a problem with any of them. the only thing is when you order the condor competitions it takes a long while for them to come in mine took 4 months before My local gun shop got them in. And I will tell you I use them for hunting and also for trap shooting and they better than a lot of other high priced guns.

I would beg to differ on this one rgarcia...I don't think that your comment of them being "better" than a lot of other high priced guns is justified.
I am currently waiting for my 3rd replacement Condor Competition to be shipped back from Stoeger. The first two guns both had issues...first with a broken firing pin and 2nd with a faulty ejector.

I am crossing my fingers that I get lucky and get one these "great" ones that some people out there have supposedly received. A Stoeger Quality Control Department obviously doesn't exist.

I would never buy another Stoeger myself & I am selling the one I did get.

Had I know better I would of spent more on a shotgun that I know I could trust to perform 100% of the time ALL the time. A gun I could hand down to my grandsons knowing it would still perform as well as the day I bought it.

I had the same issues as hembrant, only with an uplander combo. After 1.5 yrs of sending it back 2x they finally replaced it with a new combo set.
The new set perfroms well, but still I have miss fires, not as bad, but when I expect it to perform....it dont! That is total junk!

Stoeger gets an F- for customer service and handling of problems. The dealer I got it from has been great in taking care of it going back, but even after writing to the CEO & President of Stoeger 3x and never hearing back from them sealed the crate.
Rgarcia, if your guns perform as you say then Horah, but they will never come close to a better made gun.

All we expect is a gun to perform 100% without failing whatsoever out of the box, one we can trust no matter what we may be shooting, one we can grab knowing it will do the job we bought it for.....thats not at all much to ask for.

I shoot a standard Condor field gun with extractors. It has never failed to function perfectly! It is just about perfect for my use. I do, however remove the stock from time to time and flush the trigger group with a silicone spray. I don't know if this does any good, but like I said, it has been 100% reliable for me from day one!
