Had a customer bring in a Stoeger uplander supreme, long story short, didn't fire correctly!
I suggested he take it back to the place of purchase and have them send it back for repair. It is now going on 3 months since Stoeger recieved his gun for repair, he was told 14 to 18 weeks is average turn-around. is this correct or is he being yanked around??? If the repair dept. is that busy, they should improve their quality control!

I'd just have him call customer service with the serial number in hand to find out what the problem is. If it's like many of the old style supremes, they will probably replace it since they were kind bad anyway. They might not have any in stock right now to replace it with...my 2 cents.

14-18 weeks is more than three months, I sent my stoeger in to get a new slug barrel and was told it would be 2 weeks. long story short, about 15 calls later and 3 months down the road i told them to just put a field barrel on it and send it back. That company is a joke, I will never buy a stoeger, benelli anything ever again.

Hummmm I sure hope that dont happen with my condor..the stock was folding into the reciever from recoil..I called and after a half hour of waiting I got my return number. Its gotten so bad that I had to sand down the stock to get the lock lever to open
I have enjoyed the gun folded many honkers with it..Hopefully I will have it back in time..

    WHY?

...I will never buy a stoeger, benelli anything ever again.
Why do I find comfort in that statement?

I love my Stoeger! I guess it is different for everyone, as is everything. Their customer service has always treated me well... but I can certainly sympathize with your frustration, i would be frustrated too if I had to wait that long to get my gun back.

Just thought I would throw out another opinion, barring any drastic changes I will be a life long Stoeger supporter... My M2000 Kick's butt!

The reason I had to send my stoeger back for a new barrel is that the sights were attached to the barrel wrong and even after they were fully adjusted my slugs were still hitting almost 16 inches to the right. How hard is it to attach sights correctly to a barrel.? That is why I will never buy any of their crap ever again.
    Thanks

The rifled slug barrels were being manufactured by Ithaca, who have gone out of business. Ithaca's problems are certainly not the Beretta Holding Group's fault.
Let's hope that Stoeger finds another manufacturer who can take over production. This accounts for delays in getting back-ordered slug barrels and any repairs to slug barrels.
That being said, it certainly doesn't excuse the lack of communication between Stoeger and customers regarding repairs.
