So I went looking for an m2000 read all of your posts, and decided I really couldn't go wrong. I decided on the max 4, 26". Well after 7 different stores no one had one for me to look at. Then low and behold a 24' in hd, so at least I got to hold it. I decided to hit one more store before giving up, and what did they have, but the 28" wood stocked version. However the guy said everyone else wanted somthing differen't as well, and offered it to me for $322.99. So needless to say I now own it. My only concern is that the bolt is chrome. Since this is my duck/goose gun I would prefer black. Is this part easily swaped? Or should I just not even worry about it?

I wouldn't worry about it. If the birds are close enough to see the bolt they're already in trouble
As you idea, Your picture don't very warm and wet. Have much die of bird. I think this isn't only a game.

You know they do sell spray paint to camo your shotguns or rifles if you want in the sporting dept. I just went to Home Depot and got different shades of tan they use to spray clay pots for plants and it works great. If I knew how to send a picture I would send one.

I hunted from an open water goose blind late this season. About half the paint and brushing was missing from the galvanized tin roof. Ducks and geese swarmed on that thing. In fact, on the last day, the geese tried to land closer behind the blind instead of out front with the decoys. They got hurt.
