Im just woundering how many shells i can load the m2000 with, 3 or 4 ? the official site contains very litel information, one would think thay would get the manual page ready soon, the shotgun has been produced for 5years now.

I live in Sweden and my license for the shotgun is suposed to drop in the mail box during the comeing week. I've read about some defect shotguns here and I realy hope mine isnt defect or will fail me after a few hundred shells.

You can load four 23/4" shells in the magazine. I haven't used anything but lead shot, however the manual states it will handle steel shot, but don't use full choke. I have fired close to 1000 rounds from my 2000 in just under a year and no problems not even one misfeed. I did break it in with 3 boxes of 1 1/8 ounce shot, 3 1/4 gram eq. loads first. The inertia bolt system is so simple there is really not much to go wrong with it.

If you're shooting 4s lead go to 2's faststeel and if your shooting 6s lead go to 4s faststeel.
It'll take a little getting use to, but you'll get the hang of it pretty fast.
The steel gets there a little quicker then lead, but peters out quicker. I've found on ducks and geese that the faster the better. I use kents 1 1/8 3" at 1550 fps but it your shooting close you might want more shot and less speed.
1500 fps to me is the magic number (for me)

Sucks that you have to get a license to own a gun.

timb99: well i dont mind the gun laws since it prevents some of the lowlife here to get messy, one thing i hate is that it takes for ever for the police to issue the license, im still waiting on the **** license, this is my 3rd week waiting

lalle I'm a true supporter of hevi-shot but standard steel loads are just fine under normal shooting conditions and ranges. Put the shot where its supposed to go and no worries my friend.

Spis drik a ver da gla!
