I just bought a new Stoeger 2000 and I like it a lot. However my cheek hurts a bit after 100 rounds on the trap range.
The only problem I have is that I typically place my other auto loader (Franchi 500) on my cheek in a more forward position on the stock, and with the Stoeger I have to keep my cheek a bit further to the rear in order to keep the bead lined up.
I think I can remedy this by increasing the length of pull an inch or inch 1/2. Any ideas other than tracing out a peice of wood to do this? I don't want to scrap the stock recoil pad, but I'd be willing to go after market i.e. limbsaver to get an extra inch or two.
Thanks...
