I am looking at purchasing my first O/U. I've been looking at the condor supreme via Stoeger's web site as there aren't any dealers in my area that have one in stock. Anyway, my question is.......according to the web site the condor supreme is the only one with auto ejectors. Does this mean it ejects the shell to the ground? Can that be selected to where I can manually remove the hulls myself?

yup -- that one will chuck-em out on the ground and you cant select another option but i did see this guy that would catch his hulls when his gun ejected them--and he was a pretty good shot

I just bought the lowest model condor o/u and I like it a lot. I trap and skeet shoot twice a week.

I was looking into getting the Supreme but I dont think it is worth the extra money of having aut ejectors., and a bbl selector. I prefer manual ejectors, and I always shot out of the bottom barrel first anyways. (It has less recoil)

The trap league I shot at requires everyone to put their empties in their pocket after there done with their shot. So the auto ejectors wouldnt do me to good. (unless you can set them to manual)

Also if your trying to find a delar my advise is to go to Dicks, or Gander Mountain. If you dont see the gun there keep asking. I've learned that those retail stores have a lot of guns in the back they dont display for some reason. Maybe so you'll buy the more expensive models....

    good luck

All you have to do is cover the breech with one hand while you open the gun and the casing will cone out in your hand. If you want to show off you can catch them about 1foot above the breech but that is a pain some times and you look foolish is you drop them.

Well, if you have not purchased one yet, my advice is to go to a different brand. But if you have your heart set on buying a Stoeger, and IF I ever see mine again(been at Stoeger customer "service" since December 5, 2004), I will sell you mine very cheap. All it needed was a new stock, as it was cracked from the factory. Has about 50 shots through it, as I only possesed it for 3 days. Anyway, let me know if interested.
