I read that the stoger 2000 could float a 4th round, how is this done, and will all stoeger 2000's do it??
Thanks Bill

What do you mean to "float" a round? I, personally, am just not familiar with the term.
The Benelli SBE's and SBEs's can be modified so that they allow you to load four shells, by "floating" one in the shell carrier.
The modification has to do with filling a slot in the bottom of the bolt carrier with JB weld or similar material.
As you idea, Your picture don't very warm and wet. Have much die of bird. I think this isn't only a game.
can it be done with the stoeger??
I assume it can, since the Stoeger is based on the SBE action, but it may be hard to find documented proof. It's not the sort of thing that Stoeger customer support is going to walk you through.
It's also something that would probably void your warranty immediately.
Is it worth all that?

I own both a SBE(1994 model) and a Stoger 2000(2004 Model) and both can float the 4th without any modifications to the gun. I believe the 2000 is based off the older SBE design, the new SBE can only be done with a modification.
I have a SBE that is about 6 years old that I bought in when stationed in ITALY. How do you float the 4th round. I am unsure of how to get it to do this? Thanks for any help.
