On a happier note. Shot my cond sup 20 o\u Xmas day, 150 rounds no prob's. Had a ball, even hit a few clays. Anyone have time for only one dumb question? I had push the safety upwards ea time to get it off to fire. Is there a way to keep safety off or does it always automatically go on?

    Thanks

THE SAFETY SETS AUTOMATICALLY AFTER YOU BREAK OPEN THE GUN. iF IT IS RESETTING BETWEEN SHOTS THE SAFETY SPRING IS IN NEED OF REPAIR.

What I am saying is I take safety off shoot my 2 shots, reload 2 and and ready to fire again and safety is on again automatically. Nothing happening between shots. If this is normal I have to learn to deal with it. I also bought a used semi and when its off its off till I put it on again.

    Am I ok??

    Thanks to all

I believe that is the way the gun is supposed to function. It probably has an automatic safety which will reset after you shoot and open the action.

Thanks I think so too. I'm a retired NJ guy living in tx but lot of time spent in little town called Sharon ct. Its so cheap to live in tx and getting so expensive in the east dont think we can come back.

    Thanks

    Allan,

Yes, the safety automatically resets each time you break the gun open.

Like fezman said, if you're adventurous, you can defeat that function, but frankly I like it and it's what I'm accustomed to.

Fezman, since you seem to be one of if not the resident expert here on the Condors would you care to elaborate on the "how to" of disabling the auto safety? For sure I'd like to do that if my FFL guy ever gets mine in. I hate and despise auto safeties. Don't need the gun thinking for me. Not a biggie out in the field but on a skeet range I serious hate it.

its quite envolved because it is an internal and integeral part of the c0cking mecanisim and probley isnt the greatist idea anyway. i was accualy refering to the loose spring problem. since ive been involved with a few "incidents" im a bit of a safety fanatic. and quite frankly you do get used to it. i spent hours practicing closing the weapon and flipping the safety off in one motion now i dont evan notice it..... except last season when i missed a **** bird because it was on but that was with my beretta
