Just bought the Condor Supreme I shot 2 boxes of winchester 2 3/4 trap shells with no problem Saturaday got home cleaned gun a little and went duck hunting sunday. The gun would not take 3 in shells in the lower barrel the gun would jam when trying to close. it even did it on sone 2 3/4 shells. Some times the the shell would be forced past the ejectors when closing.Onlyon bottom barrel. Anybody experance this ?? Thanks

    that is an interesting problem
what type of loads were you using. off the top of my head i would say that there is an ammo problem but... the chamber could be machined short or there may be wadding or other gunk in the chamber. ive never tryed to shoot 3" rounds out of my condor evan though i do have them.

I was trying to use Winchester 3 inch hifg velocity steel shot and it would not close and the shell would be pushed past the ejector, I had to use pliers to pull shell out. it also was doing it with Winchester 2 3/4 heavy load trap. Not all the time but it would do the same thig. I also tried a freinds federal premium 3 in same thing gun woulnt close and shell forced past ejector. The shell once past the ejector moved freely. i was pushing on the ejector by hand and I think its binding up not alowing the gun to close ?

I've seen this happen with other O/Us on occasion. Usually it's a result of not completely opening the gun before inserting shells. This creates a situation where the shell can't fully enter the chamber and you then try to close it with too much shell sticking out. Usually makes a real mess of the shell.

Can't say for sure if that's your problem here or not. But try opening it a bit more. Then push the shell down into the chamber with your thumb. If it's just the situation I've seen it should go and the action should close OK.

I've been watching these threads with interest the last week or so as I've just placed an order for a 20 ga. Condor Supreme. Don't know how long it will take my dealer to locate one. He seems to have a bit of a problem getting Stoeger guns from the Benelli rep. I've gotten a pretty good feel from reading of the problems of others what I need to do to it before even thinking of firing a shot.
