HELP! I cannot reassemble new gun!

The Condor I purchased today is my first shotgun-
Between my ignorance and a poor manual, I cannot figure out how to attach the barrel/forarm assembly to the frame/stock assembly. I assume that the gun should be in these 2 halves - at the point of the break. I see where it should be joined but I dont want to force anything. I feel like an idiot since I strip and reassemble my pistols in minutes.

Please help me.......

One other thing - I was informed that the under barrel shoots first followed by the top(over). It then follows that for one clay trap, the wider choke (IC) goes on the bottom and the narrower choke(full) goes on top.

Correct?

ok i hope this helps ....
first i am assuming that the weapon is in 2 pieces
if this is the case you must press up twoards the muzzel on the locking button on the bottom of the forarm

after pushing the locking lever twords the muzzel the forarm should disengauge from the barrel with little force (i should pop appart) once you have removed the forarm engauge the locking lugs on the recever with there mates on the barrel

the weapon should look like this

then slide the forarm into the recever then push it up on to the barrel i like to set it into place then give it a wack

the weapon is now assembled

if every thing is proper you should be able to flip the lever on the top of the recever to the right and the acton should open it will require some force at first to work the acton this is normal for a condor for at least 250-300 rounds then the weapon will fall open with a flick of the lever and a little jerk up with the stock

ps if your new to shot gunning i would go out and get 2 skeet chokes for a mossburg 500 or winchester shot gun they are the same threds and maby take a course at a local gun club and yes the bottom bbl shoots first and you normaly put the wider choke in the first bbl

I was wondering what that dial on the forearm was for! She's all together although a little tight at the break.

I was told to use gun grease at the hinge area instead of oil - correct?

The gun came with 2 chokes - IC and full -
I belong to a pistol and rifle club -indoor and outdoor range - bullseye, pistol action, steel, trap, etc - instruction and competition at all levels.
I picked up 2 boxes of Remington target loads -12 g, 2 3/4, 3 dr, 1 1/8 7.5 shot to be used for practice on paper and perhaps some clays.
I cleaned off all excess grease/lube, gave her some oil on the wood and CLP on metal and barrels.
This gun was the last in stock and the demo - Basically in perfect condition - Paid $215!!

Any suggestions, do's or don'ts on my first time firing the gun?

the stiffness comes from tight tollerances and poor machineing not lack of lube. i use light gun oil hopps usualy or break free clp. as for loads i by and shoot the cheepest thing that i can find for skeet and sporting clays its an o/u so i will eat any thing that you can stuff down the tube i like the lightest loads that i can find because after 150-200 shots it can get a little sore

Thanks fez - I took the gun out friday afternoon - shot off maybe 25 rounds. Pretty cool! Less of a kick and more accurate than expected, especially at 50 yards! I saw the difference in the pattern between the IC and full choke.
Next, I'll try my hands at trap -
Any advice on technique? Do you aim at the clay or just before? Must you follow thru?

ive never shot real trap out of a house just a cheep spring loaded launcher. but i do shoot sporting clays and lots of skeet (other shot gun games) the entire idea is to keep the weapon moveing and lead your target that does 2 things 1 it spreads the shot and 2 it gives the shot time to reach the target. to score all you have to do is break the clay.
