I just bought a Stoeger Condor, and I have noticed when I shake the gun there is some kind of (for lack of a better word) clanking inside. It only happens when the gun is closed, when open it does not do it. I think it is the hammer cocking cam, but I am not sure. Is this common, if so why? Or should I have the gun looked at by Stoeger or a gun dealer?

I have heard from my local dealer, Dicks Sporting Goods, that they have had problems with these guns. The problem is what yo have described amd it has always been the hammer and firing pin mechanics.

Not sure if it was isolated to a certain batch or what. I do not own a Condor, but am serioulsy looking at buying one. I logged in to see what others have been saying and if they have had problems.
