I have the same gun, bought mine in '04 when they first came out. Mine has jammed from time to time, but never done that. I wonder if there is dirt behind the Carrier Latch not letting it go back...

I take mine out from the stock and put a LIGHT coat of oil on the inside of the tube and an even lighter coat of grease around the ring on the plunger.

What does the LS+plate change to the LOP? I have short arms and the 14" pad works great for me.

Kinda OT, but who all makes pads for the SBEII? I have an X-coil I like for my SBEI, but I don't think they make an adapter for the II.

What's the lightest loads you Vinci owners can shoot? I'm getting kinda tired of my SBE2 not cycling 1 oz. loads.

for my camo guns, just fp-10 or miltec-1 on the inside and a LITTLE bit of grease on the bolt rails. My pretty guns get wiped down with corrosion-x on the outside so they don't rust.

I used to get some from Outlaw.com of their 3" #2 steel. Good load.

I'm with you, I'd try it in extended goose season and see how it worked.

I've got a 20 ga. Cordoba and a SBE2. The Cordoba is a sweet shooter. Lets put it this way, I'm thinking about getting a Vinci if they are as light and soft shooting as they say. I'm not worried...

You know my biggest gripe just seeing it in pictures is the size of the safety. Did Benelli forget that back in '02? '03" they put the oversized safety on the SBE. I like the triangle sized safety....

What are you hunting? Will you ever been shooting at low light? Do you need 3.5" shells?

Factory fixed. Check out some patterns of a rifled barrel and how it opens up the pattern. Interesting idea for 10 feet type of shot.
