I got a regular coach man nickel plated. Are these not good guns?

I am a complete newbe to guns.

I bought 2 3/4" shell, 9 pellet buck shot. It's been 3 hours since I fired 1 round, and I still hurt. I can't imagine what a 3" round would be like.

My first gun, ever. A coachman nickel plated...

Hope I made the right decision.

I got the nickel plated with black stock, 20" 12gauge 3" barrel.

I don't know the first thing about guns, but I went to a friends dad and he suggested getting a Stoeger side-by-side.

I don't see to many people talking about this gun - is it not a good one to...

I sorry but I'm totally new to this. Why would you chose 2 3/4 or 3" shells?

I plan on buying a coachman side-by-side today.
