What blackdog suggest is suppose to work but it didn't with my dog. She want break with the lead attached to her collar. It's an obedience problem. Blackdogs suggestion may work for you. Try it....

No most problems were during duck season with all brands of shells. Gun was replaced by Stoeger after two seasons of that crap.
Light and no primer strikes, result misfires. I'm not sure where you can get a spring.
sdjlc use blue loctite you'll be able to take the screw out if needed. Also you forgot weak hammer spring in your list of fixes the m2000 needs.
