The other day I shot 1, 3 1/2 shot of steal through my modified barrel (choke). It says never shoot steal through that choke. Will my barrel be okay, because its just one shot?

It will be fine, but don't let it happen again or we'll have to take the gun away from you.

You're not supposed to use steel in a modified choke? that seems odd. Is it true? id look at my choke but it is at home in a different city. Can someone help out?

Steel is OK up to IM choke.
