I've beenadvised to lube the bolt rails with a synthetic lubricant. Any reccommendations of specific brands? What about a silicone spray lube?

I'd tend to stay away from the spray lubes... just a little goes a long way and spraying the lube puts it places it's not needed and will only attract dirt/grime.

I use Tetra Gun on most of mine and have been quite happy with it... be sure to shake any of the synthetics well before applying.
