Hi everyone, new member with a question. I have a chance to buy a wood stocked 12 guage SBE for a real good price but, I really like the looks and feel of the sport II. How do these two compare? I will be using it for Dove, Quail, Trap, skeet, and occasionally sporting clays. thanks in advance.

the sport could get messed up in the field its more of a clay pigeon gun only. Look at the price of it you drop that in the field it wont be good.

I have both & I am really growing fond of the Sport II. I love the feel of the gun with the 30 in barrel, very smooth swing for me. Shoot SC with the Sport II so far, but can't wait to try it on doves in about a week and a half. I have about 1500 rds thru the gun & no problems at all. The SBE is a great gun ,but if you don't need the 3 1/2 in shells I would go with the Sport if you like it.

I have a sport II and it is great, I've shot about 1000 rounds, not a single problem, I plan on using it as my field gun smile.gif

The Sport II was super on doves. The gun is going to be used for field duty too.
