The gun is brand new in the box. 18 1/2 inch barrel w/ghost ring sights. I was also wondering if I can buy a hunting barrel 28in for the gun and bird hunt with it?? what about mag ext??

While you can use the 28" barrel with the tactical model, you might want to check to price of a new barrel first. Factory barrels for the Nova are nearly as expensive as the entire gun!

Also, the you will probably want to remove the ghost ring sight assembly every time you use the hunting length barrel.

Yeah, I paid $320 for my nova with the 26 in brl. Classic case of love at first sight, it looked awsome and felt better, had to have it.
