SBE Spring probelm

My SBE is about 6 years old. Two things,
#1 The cover to my extractor spring came loose (its the one held on by two allen set screws) and the spring was damaged so I had to buy a new one.
MAN, was i shocked to see this little 1 1/2" spring cost me $15 !
Now I realize Benelli changed the way this spring is held in, so since they acknowledged a problem why do they charge such an outragious price for something they admit was a defect in their engineering?

Why not ask Benelli? Have you called them?

You spent over 900 for this gun tell them that and they should repair it.

I called them, and I be ****ed! even tho its 6 years old, they said to send it in and they will have it upgrqraded to match the new version FREE OF CHARGE! Now thas service

YOU GOT TO ADMIT THE SUPER BLACK CAN HOLD IT'S OWN AND THAT MAKES IT WORTH THE MONEY AND THE SERVICE IS JUST A BONUS
