I bought the X20 Suppressor a week ago and I'm a bit disappointed with it. First off the power is nowhere near advertised. My two cheapie Crosman guns are 50% more powerful! Actually they’re 4 times more powerful as the Stoeger was out of the box due to a flaw which broke the breech seal. My cheapie guns get from 16.6 to 17.3ftlbs, the best shot from the best pellet out of the Stoeger was 11.1, the average is in the high 10’s. So not much for power at all. The second major complaint is the noise, it’s not nearly what I expected. I noticed on the box it showed it as being much quieter than a Crosman Nitro, it is not, the Nitro is the much quieter gun.

The third major complaint is the scope is completely useless. Well, not completely, I can use about 10% of it. Hold a scope too far away and you’ll know what I mean. The problem is it can only be mounted in one position and that position is far too far forward to use. So unless I cut 3” off my stock, or am willing to stretch my neck 3” (I am not) then the scope is basically useless. Didn’t anyone actually try this gun before they produced it????
Btw, the barrel is only 13” long inside, so I guess that’s where the power went…
So unless you want to do some serious modifications to get this gun to work right, just buy a Crosman Nitro or Benjamin Titan, both are quieter, 50% more powerful, and $50 cheaper.
