If they are in pressure specs than they are ok.

Max pressure for 30-06 is 60,000 psi. Anything over will void any warranty.

I was always told that the Light magnums were for use in bolt rifles only? i have never found any information to back that up but it's being discontinued anyway!

The Superformance Line is taking it's place but if you own the Light mag rounds i would give Hornaday a call if it were me!
