I am thinking of purchasing a Franchi 2002 O/U. Any thoughts from anyone out there. I can get it for a good price and it looks well taken care of. I am looking for a reasonable gun to actually use and not to sit and look pretty.

I have a friend with a Franchi O/U and I am not sure if its the same model as you are talking about but it seems to kick a lot harder than it should. Regardless it's a nice shotgun I think you will like it. Put a limbsaver recoil pad on it and your shoulder should be good.
