SBE Steady Grip question

Asked this on another board, maybe this is the correct place...

Anyone have an SBE w/Steady Grip for a slug gun? Have a concern that the stock is too low to see through the scope. I could build the Steady Grip up somewhat, maybe 3/8 - 1/2 inch, but if needs more than that, it's probably too low.

It is not too low for me to see. I have used both Red Dot and the Weaver scope on a SBEII with no problem. Sa long as you use low rings, you should be fine.
