I have a Uberti Cattleman 357 Magnum. Ninety-nine percent of the approx 700-800 rds fired have been 38 Specials. Out of the box this had a very light trigger pull, but acceptable. Problem is it has gotten lighter to the point of being very unsafe. What I would call a hair trigger. Just a touch and it goes off.
Is there a relatively easy fix for this problem? I don't want to sent to factory if at all possible. Is this a problem with Uberti in general? I have heard that the steel was softer than American made guns. Anything to this. I wonder if a new trigger would help the problem without installing a new hammer. Thanks in advance for any info.

Myself, I try to send guns back to the manufacturer for repair whenever possible.
