anyone know where i can purchase the standard stock for the m4 ????

You have two options:
the grace of other board members parting with one or Gunbroker. I just picked one up last week for 150 shipped. (I had been looking for months)

P.S. A great member here offered me one, but I was slow checking back on the site and someone else picked it up, so my main advice would be to look frequently, and drop the hammer as soon as you see one. (chances are it will be gone within 24 hours)
