Paid $100 for mine brand new. Sold the long pad for $60 on GB and bought the short pad for $59 on clearance at Sportsman's Warehouse. Getting it to fit my M3 required a little work on a milling machine, but was worth it. The same mods would be necessary to make it fit an M1. Hope that helps. Thanks, Lee

sorry to dig up such an old topic, but where did you find the comfortech stock for 160 dollars. I spoke to a rep today on the phone and he told me that I'd need to go to a dealer and it would be approximately 500 bucks

Hi Zee, I saw your visitor message. I'm sorry but I don't have a definitive answer on this one for you. I do have a M1S90 but not an M2 so I can't try it out. I would think if it did fit it might look "not quite right" due to the differences in the receiver side contours between the M1 and M2. Sorry I can't be of more help on this one.

Later,
Hookster :)

My dealer (Valley Weaponry in Wintersville, OH) said $160 new from Benelli. If your take-off is like new or close and you want to sell it for $135, I'll take it.

Yes it is a take off. New Shotgun. Never used. I would just spend the $160 and pick it up today @ the shop.

I'm not sure if Vance's will ship or not, but call and ask. I don't have they're contact info handy, but they should be easy to find online - Vance's Shooter Supply in Columbus, OH. I just asked them if they could get a Comfortech stock for my Benelli M2, they asked me if I wanted black or camo, I said black and they said $140. I paid for it then and they will call me when it arrives.

Thanks, for the information. Would the gel butt pad come with the stock or you have to order it separate? I would probably give them a call to see if they would ship the stock.

Update ---- Vances called me yesterday to tell me 2 things:
1) The Comfortech stoch that I ordered and paid for in full ($140) is in.
2) They made a mistake and the price is not $140, but rather $399

!?!?!?!

!?!?!?! I knew your offer was incorrect. I looked up the prices, and found $400.00 and up. I guess you lose your deposit if you refuse to pay the ops; new price.

It was a blessing in disguise. I found one on eBay for $90 (minus the gel pad, which is fine with me) and Vance's will refund my money due to their mistake.

It's total BS what they want for that stock. The pistol grip stock is $140 .... How can that be right when the MSRP for my M2 tactical is the same with either stock!?

zee - my offer to you was not intended to offend or low ball. As stated in an earlier post, it was based on what others said they paid. No offense intended, and I hope none taken.

In the end, I am pleased with the deal I got.

$95 for the stock (recoil pad shown was the one that came with it - no shims or plates included) + $25 for drop/cast shims and plates = $120 total. It's not the Comfortech gel recoil pad, but that's fine with me, especially at that price.
