I have a question regarding a Noble .22 rifle model 20H that I inherited today. I have never heard of Noble and would like to know about it a little more. I normally shoot a Benelli Super Nova and have not dabbled in the relm of .22. I do know it is chambered for .22 Short/Long/Long Rifle. It is a single shot bolt action and you pull the tip of the bolt back to cock the rifle. Any one have any info? All comments will be taken and accepted. :D

it shows to have been produced in 1958.discontinued in 1963. 22"barrel,weighs 5lbs, uncheckered walnut stock. they were modeled after the mossberg model 10, who first introduced this type/style of single shot 22 rifle in 1933.they must have went out of business around 1971. thats the last date of production i can find.

the value is listed as, good-$40.00, very good-$50.00, and excellent-$65.00.
i paid $125.00 for a mossberg model 20 in fair shape, wood was rough. i brought it home and refinished the wood w/ red mahogany stain, 25 coats of clear laquer, and reblued the barrel. reblueing was difficult to say the least.the metal is so hard that it would not take a cold blue. it had to be put in the oven and heated to 175 degrees to get it to take.

i gave it to my 9yr old stepson last year for christmas. these rifles make fantastic first rifles.they can be shot without being picked up be to reloaded.

i hope ive shed some light on what you have;)

i have had one since 1963, i was 12, i have shot 5000 round or more while i was in my teen with my noble. I am 58 now. Have not shot it for a while, , but it drove tacks when i did. When it was bought, i think it cost about $20.00

A Noble .22 was one of the very first guns I shot.
If it is in good condition, thats a keeper!
