It's not a new product but it is new on my SuperNova Tactical. :)
Short story, I like the fit but am not yet sold on the anodized finish. If it does not hold up, it will get one of the spray on coatings.
More details at my site (http://www.stu-offroad.com/firearms/mesa/sureshell/sureshell-1.htm).

Anodized is good IF it's type III hard anodized. Very resileint. But standard anodize is not durable.

I don't know which it may be.....I'm quite sure the documentation didn't specify which it was. From what I've experienced so far, it is not the hardened type.....if it is, I'm not impressed with that type either. :(

Mmmmm Ooo kaaay.
They all wear, you know. They will all take a scratch if a screw driver hit them, and they all wear at wear points and will show metal in time.

I payed 25 bucks and got a neoprene stock shell holder and a Weaver rail mount. Don't see the point in spending that much on a mesa when mine functions just as well.

Glad to hear you like yours on your stock. Had I wanted a shell holder on my stock, that is what I would have purchased.
