The Uburti is as good, but the Ruger can handle "hotter" loads. Standard cowboy rounds are as accurate once you get the feel for the pistol. Accuracy increases if you start to load your own cartridges, that way you can have a more consistant load you trust.

Ruger makes a FANTASTIC hand gun. they have come a long way in a very short time. i dont own a vaquero, but i have a few friends that do. one has a 45 long colt, the other a 357. both are very happy with them. i have a gp100/357, and a redhawk/44mag and i love them both. i have had a super blackhawk and i liked it too.[traded it for reloading equip] idont think you would be disappointed w/ a Ruger, and will cost youfar less $$.

if you reload, stick to the recipes[data].its ok to increase loads to no more than .05 grains, but its really not a good idea. and if you do watch for extreme pressure signs. such as damage to the brass,[cracks, over swollen cartriges, such as difficulty ejecting spent shells or flatting of primers] for a perfect load every time, be sure to weigh EACH charge using triple beams or digital scales. stick to the data and weigh the charges and you cant go wrong.
