home depot sells powerfull ones ,,get a high wattage model,,or go to an electrical supply house ,,they got the killers,,,super dooper wattage,,,make ya ligghts blink

It goes to 1,100 degrees and you might need all of that- I did-

I used the Black & Decker one that I found at Lowe's. It came with some attachments that helped as well.

locktight makes a primer in spray can primes and softens locktight for removeal have sprayed into threads to soften lock tight red worked in past ----good luck

Just bought a Milwaukee from Home Depoy for under $60. If you're looking to melt Lock-tite red, check the directions of the package. The perma-tex version of it says to heat it to 500 degrees. My Milwaukee on high took just over four minutes to accomplish this.
